Got down and dirty at San Churros Chocolateria!

With No Limit

Caught up with my girl Agnieszka for dinner and dessert wearing H&M rubber-feel jumper, studded Supre leggings, leopard print turban and Steve Madden Miidori boots with edgy buckle detail down the sides (much needed close-up shots some other time, I promise!). Spent nearly three hours talking about things we probably never would conversate with our other half about -- her recent birthday party and how we should have a post-birthday monthly-versary parties, sale craziness and shopping bargains and how it's so hard for a girl to save money, $15 dress that looks like $150 (and keeping the actual price hush hush), cooking curry and trying to differentiate between Indian, Thai, Malay and Jamaican curry, dancing, her super freakin' rad Ted Baker patent leather purse (pictured above), saving for a girls trip to Bali, how we both are such outgoing people (some sort of self assessment and validation?), studying fashion and working in fashion, relationships vs friendships and the irony of how much easier it is to hurt a partner than a friend, Magic Mike, watching Magic Mike again, how insanely drool-worthy Channing is, how we still love Justin Timberlake no matter what, how hot Tom Cruise used to be, upcoming fashion shows, past fashion shows, fashion shows we both went together, fashion shows we plan to go to together this year and next, planning our next girl talk -- we went on and on and on. We talked so much 'til we were left with zero words upon arriving home. Just peaceful silence and happy smiles. No wonder men loves it when their woman gets out of the house to pour it all out during girl talks.

Romance in the Air

Not too long ago I attended my friend Amira and Paolo's modern and chic wedding at Acqua Viva on the Swan, a breathtaking venue built over Swan River on a private jetty by historical Nedlands marina. It was just my kind of ultimate wedding setup -- clean, contemporary and not overloaded with wasteful decorations. With neutral white and silver tones backing up the romantic atmosphere, the sound of luxury yachts gently rocking in their pens and the unforgettable panoramic river views, hands down it was the most relaxing wedding I've ever been to!

Simple Pleasures

Taking in a full sunny winter day in Perth, laying in the park and gazing at palm trees that remind me of LA and all the good times I had during my visit back in 2005. Double-knotting like the cool kids. Taking a super short (10 minutes maybe?) cruise crossing Swan River from North to South. All because I can.

Creature Comforts

Nothing like cozy scarves and a cuppa creamy latte to chase the winter blues away..

I love this candid shot I captured of my sister Nabila silently agreeing with the sky that seemed to promise a beautiful weather ahead, right before we both headed out to Dome Cafe by Scarborough Beach to indulge in warm coffees and cakes.

Life in Travel

Few visual perks from my two-week life in travel: Simple teriyaki meal with green tea. Extensive makeup set. Roses by the bed. New galaxy printed dress from Zara. Chanel Iphone case in white. Lilac nails. Best satay in town. Prada purse cake!

I've Been Rocked!

Rocked it mega hard during my stay at Hard Rock Hotel Penang in Malaysia last week. Kicked back at their hip and trendy cafe one of the nights to wine and dine (indulged in their irresistable Jumbo Combo that included Sant Fe spring rolls, hickory-smoked chicken wings, onion rings, potato skins and tupelo chicken tenders... served with four different sauces!) while being entertained by one of the local indie bands.

Had one hell of a rockin' night for sure!

Island Life

Enjoying the simplicities of life to the max on Malaysia's very own Penang Island, where it's all about beautiful beaches, warm smiles and unforgettable adventures...
