Recently acquired this vintage floral velvet dress here in Kuala Lumpur and found myself stuck between two options: whether to shorten it to a mini dress or leave it as is. I didn't want to regret not at least taking a shot of it in its original form, here teamed with a pair of vintage leather boots and studded fringed bag from Dangerfield, so I would have some sort of evidence on how it used to look like just in case the cut turns out to be a major disaster! But after examining these snaps I'm finding myself leaning more and more towards getting it shortened, backed by another pretty valid reasoning: by the time I get back to Perth it'll be summer and scorching hot so I really don't need that extra length!
