Celebrating the opening of Skatt salon in Claremont WA -- a fun-filled night graced with delicious hors d'œuvres, beautiful designs by Bettina Liano and Ricarda paraded down the runway, and great hair styles as always by Skatt salon. Not to mention the highlight of the night -- fairy floss in the gift bag! Mega yum.

Blog Anniversary: Troublemaker Two!
Uh oh. My blog turns TWO today. You already know what THAT means!
But seriously, amid the crazy rollercoaster ride I call my own personal life this blog has been the rock that keeps my sanity in check and my feet on ground. I always try to make each post interesting and different so the past two years of blogging have been a major BLAST! Here are some of the shots from the past couple of years in non-chronological order -- it was terribly hard to pick out my favourites as each post comes with seriously irreplaceable memories:
:: Spontaneous! :: October Heart & Fringe Benefits :: Rock Solid :: Middle of Nowhere :: All I Want :: Masquerade! :: Killing Me Softly :: Under the Lights :: Steady Sidekicks :: Chiffon Sheer :: To the Beat :: Oriental Roots :: Child of Nature :: Paddle On ::
Life is really beautiful... just gotta LIVE it! Here's to another WICKED year!!

Metal Spikes
Heavily inspired by this metal spike fringe necklace, I decided it wouldn't be that big of a task to assemble one myself using metal chains and spike cones from the craft store. The whole process was so quick and easy that it took me merely minutes to attach everything together. I figured the shiny silver looks best against black so I teamed it with an ensemble that include a sheer chiffon cardigan from Supré worn over a basic tank top with lace trimming, a black stone ring from Forever 21, a silver Sportsgirl ring, a stone bangle from the flea markets and a Tag Heuer watch. Now I can't wait to drape this chain of spikes over anything and everything!

Black & Gold
A vintage Chanel vanity case that I will treasure for as long as I live. Unless it gets stolen. Or misplaced and unfound forever. Or buried under a pile of earth rubble after a landslide disaster and I wasn't able to save it because seriously... who thinks of a Chanel case when her life is at the brink of being over?
But yes, lets hope for the occurrence of none of the above... so I get to treasure it for as long as I live.

Killing Me Softly
The answer for those wondering about how the tropical humidity is treating me.
If I could walk around naked I would but since getting caught and being mistaken to be mentally ill doesn't sound that appealing of an idea, keeping the clothes minimal is the next apparent option while I spice it up by adding few new accessories to the usual rotation, all in all resulting in an exhibition of rings picked up from a mix of different countries during my travels, chain choker bought ages ago from a flea market in Malaysia, tooth-shaped stone necklace purchased last year at a street market in Saudi Arabia, gifted Tag Heuer watch and a vintage stone bangle.
