Hi Farrah. Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. It really means a lot to me. I'm really happy to hear that you enjoy reading my blog and that you can relate to what I write. Thank you for taking the time to read my words and take an interest in my blog. It's really amazing being able to connect with others through blogging and I'm glad that my post could bring a smile to your face :) You brought a smile to my face with your comment and you made my birthday all the more special. Thank you! And I really enjoy your blog too. You have great style.
To answer your question, I shoot with a Nikon D60. If this is your first DSLR camera, I would recommend the D60 as it is one of the entry-level camera. It's easy to use and it's got a nice body so it fits firm and comfortably in your hands. The 5000 and 300, and even the D90 are all very expensive, so I personally don't think it's worth it to invest in such an expensive camera is you're just starting out and learning how to use the camera. I got my camera on the summer and I'm still learning how to use all the function to get the most out of the camera. I would invest my money in some good lens, and this all depends on what kind of pictures you want to take. For fashion pictures, a D60 body will do the trick but get a good lens. I shoot with an 18-55 mm and 55-200 mm lens. With more lenses, you have more options in terms of what kind of pictures you want to take. Plus, you can always trade in your entry level camera later on when you get really good at using it. I personally prefer Nikon over Canon. I shot with the Canon XTi and it's not as comfortable and I don't like the quality of the picture as much. Of course, it also depends on the lens. This is all photography and camera talk, so I'm not sure if you're getting any of this. But if you'd like to know more or if you have any specific questions, just let me know. I'm happy to answer your questions. With the Nikon, I have no complaints so far. I hope this helps.
Once again, thank you for your lovely comment. I hope you're having a good weekend.
